Urgent – Parliament conducts first reading of Federal Council law draft

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament conducted the first reading for the Federal Council law draft.

A parliamentary source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Saturday “The parliament started the first reading of the Federal Council law draft submitted by the parliamentary Legal and Regions Committees.”

Earlier, the parliament approved forming the Federal Council that comprises four candidates of each province, including the provinces of Kurdistan Region, where it is similar to the US Congress and its authorities will be shared with the parliament.
