Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament session started on Thursday noon to vote on four laws and to conduct first and second reading of a number of law drafts.

Parliamentary source stated to IraqiNews.com “The parliament session, which is headed by the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, and attended by 235 MPs, has been started.”

“The session involves voting on the Social Security Law, 2nd amendment for the Provincial Law NO. 21 of 2008, the laws of the Endowments and a decision over the inability of the Ministry of Electricity to solve the crisis of the electric power,” the source added.

“The session also includes the first reading for the one Law draft and the second reading of four law drafts,” the source mentioned.

“The session agenda includes also inviting the Minister of the Water Resources to discuss the conditions of Mosul Dam,” the source concluded.
