Britain submits protest note to UN, General Consul

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The British General Consul in Arbil reported that Britain submitted a note of protest to the United Nations on the continued Iranian bombardment of Kurdistan borders, which led to the killing and wounding many as well as the immigration of greater number of villagers.  In a press conference today, he added “we are against the Iranian bombardment for the Kurdish region’s borders.”  “We have submitted a protest to the United Nations. We, as the British government, say that the behavior of the Iranian government is sabotage because it obliged the citizens to leave their villages,” he added.  RM (TP)/SR 611
