Chalabi’s Party condemns assassinating Bouti

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi National Congress Party chaired by Ahmed al-Chalabi condemned assassinating the Syrian clergyman Mohammed Saeed Ramdhan al-Bouti and other individuals due to a suicide bombing that targeted a mosque in the Syrian Capital, Damascus on Thursday evening.

A statement by Party received by IraqiNews.com cited “We received the news of assassinating al-Bouti and other worshippers on last Thursday in Iman Mosque in Damascus by the Takfiri terrorists with great sorrow.”

“We condemn this horrible crime and present our condolences to the Syrian People for losing this faithful and educated scientist who used to be a symbol for moderation and patriotism,” the statement concluded.
