Christian delegation urges Khuzayi to interfere to amend Christian Endowment Law

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Vice-President, Khudair al-Khuzayi, received a Christian delegation involved the head of Christian sects in Iraq and the head of the Christian Endowment in Baghdad on Tuesday.

A statement by Khuzayi’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Khuzayi received the delegation and discussed the means of presenting the services to the Christian citizens and the projects accomplished by the Christian Endowment.”

“The head of the Christian Endowment urged Khuzayi to interfere personally to amend the Christian Endowment law,” the statement added.

“The members of the delegation expressed their gratitude to Khuzayi for his understanding for the concerns of the Christians,” the statement concluded.
