Clinton condemns recent blasts in Iraq

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton condemned the deadly bombings that hit Iraq throughout the past few weeks and left scores of people dead or wounded. “The United States shares leaders’ condemnation of the blasts that occurred across Iraq during the past few weeks, particularly of the repeated attacks on Shiite houses of worship in Shabak and Yazidi villages in Ninewa province,” the office of the official spokesperson of the U.S. Department of State said in a statement received by Iraqi News. Clinton called on the Iraqi government to pursue those responsible for the attacks and bring them to justice. SS (P) 1
