CM: non-seriousness of Barzani’s meetings behind our boycott

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Kurdish Change Movement attributed its boycott to the meetings of the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, with the Kurdish political parties to “non-conviction of the Movement in the seriousness of these meetings.”

A statement by the Movement quoted its representative in Baghdad Azad Jalak as saying “The decision to boycott the meetings of the President Barzani came when the Movement realized the futility and lack of seriousness of these meetings which always demand the Kurdistani opposition to stand with the ruling parties when the Kurdistan Regional Government force the Region or Iraq into a maze of its unilateral policies and ill-considered steps.”

“The ways to solve these ongoing crises lies in resorting to the Constitution, dialogue and understanding between the Region and the federal government in addition to starting prompt commencement in implementing the revolutionary reform programs and fight all aspects of corruption in the Kurdistan Region,” Jalak added.
