Council of Ministers hosts Nineveh PC chairman, members

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) The Council of Ministers hosted the chairman of Nineveh Provincial Council and its members during its session which is held in the province on Tuesday.

A source from Nineveh PC stated to IraqiNews.com “The Council of Ministers hosted Nineveh PC Chairman and all its members from Arab and Kurdish communities to listen to the problems that face the province and the proposals for upgrading the situation in the province.”

Earlier, the session of the Council of Ministers started which is headed by the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, started at the Presidential Palace of northern Mosul of Nineveh province on Tuesday.

The reporter of IraqiNews.com stated “The session was attended by the Deputies of Premier, Hussien al-Shihristani, and Ruz Nouri Shawis, in addition to Nineveh Governor, Athil al-Nijaifi, the Head of the Provincial Council, Jabur Abid Raba, as well as Commanders of the Iraqi Army forces there, Commander of Nineveh Operations Command, General Basim al-Tayi and the Commanders of the Police and the Federal Police.”

“The session will discuss the security situation and the problems that the province suffers from,” the reporter added.

Shawis attendance for the session proves that Kurd will not boycott the session as MP, Mahdi Haji, expected earlier.
