Council of Ministers starts its session in Dhi-Qar

Dhi-Qar (IraqiNews.com) The Council of Ministers started its session in Dhi-Qar province on Tuesday.

A source from Dhi-Qar Provincial Council stated to IraqiNews.com “Maliki headed the session with the attendance of the Deputy Premier for Energy Affairs, Hussien al-Shihristani, and the Deputy Premier for Economic Affairs, Ruz Nouri Shawees, in addition to a number of Ministers and officials from the province.”

“The session was held at Imam Ali Air Base immediately after Maliki’s arrival with the participation of Dhi-Qar Governor, Talib al-Hasan, and his Deputy Hasan al-Ayous, as well as the chairman of Dhi-Qar PC, Qusay al-Ebadi,” the source added.

“The session will discuss the problems that the province suffers from in the services, construction and investment fields,” the source concluded.

Earlier, Maliki arrived at Imam Ali Air base accompanied by a number of Ministers to hold the session of the Council of Ministers in the province on Tuesday morning.

The Council of Ministers, previously, held three sessions in Basra, Kirkuk and Nineveh provinces to discuss the problems of these provinces.
