Davutoglu describes meeting with Barzani as Positive

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmed Davutoglu described his meeting with the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, which lasted for three hours and a half, as “Positive”.

While speaking to the journalists, Davutoglu stated “The meeting with Barzani was very positive where the Kurdish officials understood the message of Turkey which is to express the worry of Turkey over the latest updates in the region especially in northern Syria.”

He assured that he has informed the officials about the Turkish stance towards the region, pointing out “There is a complete deal between Barzani and the Turkish government over the current situation.”

Some media outlets stated that “the two sides will consider any side that uses violence in Syria as a threat to them where the new Syria will not have terrorist or extremist sides.”
