Democratic Trend criticizes political situation in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Democratic Trend criticized the political situation and the current crisis in Iraq.

In a press statement, the Trend stated “Iraq became a conflict area for the authority, money and power and the other partner is considered as an enemy that must be neglected.”

“The Democratic Trend, in all its public conferences, has diagnosed the reasons of the crisis and the means to settle it and has shown that the crisis is based on the monopolization of authority according to the sectarian basis,” the statement added.

The Trend announced his support to the initiative of the President, Jalal Talabani, to hold the national meeting because it is necessary to settle the crisis.

It called the Iraqi citizens to “Re-consider the confidence that they have given to their MPs.”
