Demonstration denouncing Iranian – Turkish shelling in Arbil

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com:  Hundreds representing NGO organizations in the region demonstrated in Arbil today before UN offices denouncing Turkish-Iranian bombardment for Kurdish border area, demanding the UN to assist in stopping them.   The demonstrators raised the Kurdish flags and photos of the victims of Turkish-Iranian bombardments, that led to the killing of a complete family.   Head of NGO organizations in Kurdistan Adnan Abor Bey told IraqiNews.com that “NGO organizations’ representatives made the demonstration to stop these bombardments.   “We have submitted a memorandum to the UN office in Arbil demanding an active UN role in stopping these atrocities and extend humanitarian assistance to the immigrating families”, he added.   On the other hand, participant film director Vian May’yi said that “we came as a human  and national duty , which will enhance our unity”.   Iraqi Kurdistan borders are suffering a daily shelling by Turkish and Iranian forces under the pretext of chasing PKK and PJAK members.
