Deputy FM, Spanish envoy take on Iraq-EU ties

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s Deputy Foreign Minister Labeed Abbawi on Wednesday met with the Spanish ambassador to Baghdad, Francisco Elias de Tejada, to discuss a partnership agreement that is scheduled to be signed between Iraq and the European Union. “The two officials highlighted the Iraq-EU relations,” according to a Foreign Ministry statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. A partnership and a cooperation agreement and a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on energy have recently been negotiated between the two sides in Brussels.
