Maliki’s party to nominate Ebadi or Najim for Prime Minister post

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Dawa Islamic Party headed by Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, will hold an important meeting at night to nominate either Haider al-Ebadi or Tariq Najim.

An informed source stated to IraqiNews.com “There is a big completion between Ebadi, Najim and the head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafary to get this post after excluding Maliki from the nomination process.”

“These two names were discussed during the meetings of the Iraqi National Alliance where the members of the DIP called to choose one of the two nominees,” the source concluded. /End/
