Diplomatic efforts continuing to stop Iranian bombardment – Kurdish official

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: Kurdish government foreign relations responsible Falah Mustapha announced that the diplomatic efforts are continuing to stop Iranian bombardment on Kurdish border areas, according to a governmental statement.   The statement, copy received by IraqiNews.com, said, during his meeting with the new director of UNHCR in the region, that “the Kurdish government does not interfere in the internal affairs of the neighboring counties, as well as taking special heed to the security situation as a factor in the stability of the region”.   He pointed out the continued diplomatic efforts made by the federal government to stop the Iranian bombardment on border area.   UNHCR director pointed out that the first step in her mission is to “visit the border areas in Arbil to acquaint herself  with the area, the situation of the immigrants due to Iranian bombardments, and how to extend all possible assistance “.   The Kurdish border areas are suffering of Iranian daily bombardments under the pretext of chasing PJAK members in the mountainous areas.
