Dori calls legislative, executive authorities to meet with security leader over Sunday attacks

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Etab al-Dori, of the Iraqiya Slate called “The executive and the legislative authorities to hold a meeting with the security leaders to identify the reasons behind the huge security breaches that took place on last Sunday and to exert efforts to confront such security deterioration.”

In a statement received by IraqiNews.com, she said “The lack of precautionary plans and the intelligence efforts and keeping the control of one man on the security file weakened the security situation,” calling to “End the issue of nominating the security Ministers urgently.”

She held “The political blocs responsible of the deteriorated security situation due to the political disputes among them which enabled the terrorists to implement their plots which are supported by foreign agenda.”

“The escalation of the Syrian crisis has its consequences on the region and especially Iraq,” she stressed.

She urged to “Deploy the security forces all over the Iraqi province and to equip them with arms from the best international sources in addition to installing observatory cameras to monitor the main roads.”

She emphasized “The importance of realizing the critical situation by the politicians to adopt the dialogues instead of the disputes.”

Earlier, Kirkuk, Basra, Salah al-Din, Dhi-Qar, Maysan and Nineveh provinces witnessed car bombings that resulted in killing and injuring dozens of citizens on last Sunday.
