Dori calls to enact law to prohibit using sectarian slogans in demonstrations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Itab al-Dori of the Iraqiya Slate expressed her support for ratifying a law to prevent using sectarian slogans and mottos in the demonstrations and protests.

Dori said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com that “She upholds the request of the Sheikh Abdul Malik al-Saadi over enacting a law in this regard.”

She called the “Iraqi Government to expedite implementing the demonstrators’ demands for they are legitimate and constitutional so as to avert the serious danger that might afflict the country.”
