Egyptian Prime Minister to visit Iraq next month, Al-Ahram reports

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The new Egyptian Prime Minister, Issam Sharaf, is to visit Baghdad next month, where he shall hold talks with leading Iraqi officials, the electronic site of Egypt ’s al-Ahram newspaper reported on Friday.   “Egypt’s Prime Minister, Issam Sharaf, shall visit Baghdad next month, where he will carry talks with leading Iraqi officials on bilateral relations and means to boost them, as well as coordination and cooperation in different fields, especially the trade cooperation, the building of joint projects and the participation of Egyptian companies and labor force in Iraq’s reconstruction projects,” Al-Ahram said.   The newspaper quoted the Egyptian Prime Minister’s Media Advisor, Ahmed al-Samman, as saying that Prime Minister Sharaf would “discuss during his visit, the dossier of the wages of Egyptians in Iraq , exceeding hundreds of millions of dollars.”   SKH (ST)     482
