Eraibi describes parliament as Sectarian

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ahmed al-Eraibi, of the White bloc described the parliament as “Sectarian”.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he stated “The current parliament became sectarian where the Sunni and Shiite sects in addition to the Kurdish community are controlling it,” noting that “Endorsing the important law drafts is hindered by the sectarian obstacles inside the parliament.”

“Dissolving the current parliament is the only solution to settle the current crisis because it cannot practice its legislative and observatory role and did not represent the Iraqi people,” he added.

Earlier, the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, called to conduct earlier elections in order to settle the current political crisis in case the other blocs refused to conduct dialogue.
