Fatlawi describes supervisory parliament’s role as Paralyzed

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hanan al-Fatlawi, described “The supervisory role of the parliament as paralyzed.”

She stated to IraqiNews.com “The parliament role in this regard is totally absent where the parliament does not practice its supervisory activities over the State institutions performance.”

“Concerning the legislative performance of the parliament, it is quantitative rather than qualitative since many important laws that concerns the citizens directly are hindered like the Social Security Law, Retirement Law, Oil and Gas Law in addition to Parties Law,” she concluded.
