Former PM: Those weak in the heart behind electoral violations

BABEL / IraqiNews.com: Former Iraqi Prime Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari on Saturday blamed “those who are weak in the heart” for the electoral violations that have been committed ahead of the upcoming provincial council elections. “Those who tear apart electoral placards are weak in the heart. We go for an electoral process that is free of rigging…,” Jaafari told a gathering of voters in Hilla city on Saturday. Jaafari, who heads the National Reform Movement, called on voters to elect those who will defend their interests. Hilla, the capital city of Babel province, lies 100 south of Baghdad. SS (P) 3
