Fuel to be distributed free to generators in Nineveh, says MP
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ajil Humaidi Ajil al-Yawar, of the Justice and Reformation Movemnet announced that the Oil Minister, Abdul Karim Luaibi, ordered to deliver the fuel to the generators for free in Nineveh starting the 25th of May.
A statement cited that Yawar met Luaibi and reviewed the problems of Nineveh province over the lack of fuel and its high price in summer that negatively affects the citizens.”
“Regarding the fuel amount of Mousl province for winter season, Yawar requested Luaibi to deliver the whole amount of oil to the citizens,” the statement added, assuring that “The pipe transferring oil from Biji to Mousl will start pumping oil soon after fixing it.”
“Yawar called Nineveh province and the provincial council to impose very tight procedures over distributing the oil in order to avoid smuggling it to the north of Iraq,” the statement added.
According to the statement, Yawar requested Luaibi to “Return the dismissed policemen to their jobs.”
