Governmental negligence behind announcing Salahuddin region, MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqiya MP Saleem al-Jbouri said today that the decision adopted by Salahuddin Provincial Council to declare the province an independent region is “their right according to the constitution”. He pointed out that such decision was taken due to “governmental negligence of the people of the province”. MP Jbouri told IraqiNews.com that “this idea might open the door wide before other provinces to follow this trend”. Twenty members of provincial council voted for the region.
