Hakim, Ambassador of Iran discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, discussed with the Iranian Ambassador to Iraq, the Iraqi-Iranian bilateral relations.

A statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com reported on Tuesday “Hakim received at his office in Baghdad, the Iranian Ambassador to Iraq, Hassan Danaye Far, where they discussed the bilateral relations between both countries as well as discussing the regional and international situations.”

“Hakim stressed, during the meeting, the necessity of developing the ties with the regional countries,” the statement added.

“For his part, Ambassador of Iran congratulated Iraq on the success of the provincial elections, wishing Iraq further progress and prosperity,” the statement concluded.
