Hakim calls members of Citizen Alliance to adhere to electoral program

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, called the members of the Citizen Alliance to adhere to the electoral program to serve the citizens and Iraq.

A statement by the media office of the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com cited “While receiving the governors and their deputy of the Citizen Alliance, Hakim stressed the necessity of adhering to the electoral program to serve Iraq and the Iraqis.”

“Hakim reviewed the plans that will followed for this purpose in addition to he problems that hinder providing services to the provinces, expressing his hope to settle all of them,” the statement added.

A statistic conducted by IraqiNews.com shows that the SIIC participated in the local elections within the Citizen Alliance and the Alliance got 61 seats where 58 of them are for the SIIC, the Iraqi National Congress headed by Ahmed al-Chalabi, got one seat, Bada’na Party headed by the former Interior Minister, Jawad al-Bolani, got one seat and the Commission of I am Husseini got one seat only.
