Hakim, Chalabi discuss Iraqi political, security updates

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council Ammar al-Hakim discussed with the Iraqi National Congress Ahmed al-Chalabi the political and security updates in Iraq.

A statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com cited “Hakim received in his office in Baghdad the head of the INC, Ahmed al-Chalabi on Friday evening.”

“The meeting discussed the political and security updates in Iraq in addition to the current events in the region,” the statement concluded.
