Hakim, Dharif discuss mutual relations, Syrian crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, and the Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Jawad Dharif, discussed the mutual relations and the Syrian crisis.

A statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com cited “Hakim received Dharif at his office in Baghdad as they discussed the means to upgrade bilateral relations in addition to the regional updates especially the Syrian crisis.”

“Hakim confirmed that the political solution is the best for Syria,” the statement concluded.
