Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, pointed out during his meeting with the head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibraheem al-Jaafary, that “The good relations among the patriotic political sides is sufficient to settle the disputes and to create positive atmosphere to overcome the crises.”

A statement by the SIIC received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited “Hakim met Jaafary at his office in Baghdad on Tuesday and they discussed the national and regional political concerns.”

“Hakim assured that the upcoming national meeting, seeking solutions and eliminating the disputes are means to participate in ending the current political crisis,” the statement added.

“Jaafary confirmed the necessity of strengthening the INA and to adopt the initiatives that will serve the citizens,” the statement concluded.

Recently, The political scene witnesses political movement to settle the disputes started by a meeting held in Erbil involving the President, Jalal Talabani, the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, and the head of Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, as well as the head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi, to discuss the political crisis.
