Hakim receives congratulations from Allawi, Salih

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, received congratulations from the head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi, and the leader within the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Barham Salih, for being re-elected as the head of the SIIC.

A statement by the SIIC received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited Sunday “Hakim received a phone call from Allawi who congratulated him on this occasion in addition to a congratulatory message from Salih for being re-nominated the Head of the SIIC on the 11th Conference of the General Commission.”

It is worth mentioning that the SIIC held its 11th General Conference and elected the Political Committee and re-nominated Hakim as it’s Head on Sunday.
