Hakim receives congratulations from Nijaifi, Barzani for being re-elected as SIIC head

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, received congratulatory messages from the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, and the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, for being reelected as the head of the SIIC.

A statement by the SIIC received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited Sunday “Hakim received congratulatory messages from Barzani, Nijaifi and a number of political, Academic as well as tribal figures on the occasion of being re-nominated the Head of the SIIC on the 11th Conference of the General Commission.”

It is worth mentioning that the SIIC held its 11th General Conference and elected the Political Committee and re-nominated Hakim as it’s Head on Sunday.
