Hakim stresses necessity of forming strong government

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, stressed the necessity of forming a strong government that comprises all the political blocs.

A statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com cited “While heading the political committee of the Citizen bloc at his office in Baghdad, Hakim stressed the necessity of forming a strong government that comprises all the political blocs.”

“Hakim discussed with the Citizen MPs the results of the parliamentary elections, assuring the importance of making the Iraqi National Alliance as a strong and active institution,” the statement concluded.
