Hakim, Turkish delegation discuss upgrading relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, and a Turkish delegation, that involved clergymen, discussed the means of upgrading bilateral relations between Iraq and Turkey on religious, cultural and social levels.

A statement by the SIIC received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited “Hakim received the delegation at his office in Baghdad and discussed developing bilateral relations.”

“Hakim emphasized the communication between the two Muslim countries through the exchanged visits,” the statement concluded.
