Hakim urges to aid citizens attacked by ISIL in Sinjar

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, called to establish safe routes to aid the citizens of Sinjar.

In a statement received by IraqiNews.com, al-Hakim urged the Central Government, Kurdistani Regional Government and the international community to assume their responsibilities in protecting member’s of Iraq’s Yazidi community.

Hakim condemned the genocide committed by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant terrorists in Sinjar, noting that their crimes will be added to the ISIL atrocities in Mosul, Talaafar and Speicher camp.
