Health Committee calls not to include doctors, scientists in J&A procedures

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Parliamentary Health and Environment Committee called not to include the doctors and scientists in the procedures of the Justice and Accountability Commission.

The member of the Committee, Jawad al-Bazoni, stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “It is not necessary to apply the procedures of the J&A Commissions on the doctors and the scientists because they are not involved in these procedures and even if some of them were involved, it is because of their positions and job.”

“The laws that help in brining the scientists back to Iraq must be approved such as the Doctors’ Protection law which is necessary to protect them from the violations of the tribes, but unfortunately the local governments are neglecting this law and the other laws that serve the same purpose,” he concluded.
