Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Health and Environment Parliamentary Committee discussed the Doctors’ Protection law draft and made further proposals on the draft for the purpose of preparing it for the second reading in Parliament.

A statement by the Media Office in Parliament, received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), mentioned that “The meeting, chaired by MP Liqa’a Al-Yassin, formed follow-up committees based on the recommendations of the parliament presidency, including the committees tasked with investigating the entry of expired goods with partnership with the Parliament Integrity Committee in addition to forming committees to follow up the delay of drafting laws through the State Shura Council, the Ministry of Health and the Pharmacists Syndicate.”
