Human Rights Committee, International Partners conclude agreement

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Human Rights Parliamentary Committee signed a Memorandum of Understanding with international Partners Institution.

A statement by the Committee received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) stated that “The Chairman of the Human Rights parliamentary Committee, Salim al-Joubori, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the International Partners Institution to consolidate efforts of promoting human rights through supporting the Human Rights Committee to develop its strategy and measures.”

The statement added that “The agreement also included support for legislative and oversight issues in order to achieve the goals of the Committee,” noting that “MP Joubori expressed his optimism about the cooperation with the institution.”
