IHEC extends registering political blocs, alliances participating in elections of Kurdistan Region

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent High Electoral Commission announced extending the registration of the political blocs and alliances that will participate in the elections of the elections of Kurdistan Region.

The spokespersons of the IHEC, Safaa al-Mousawi, stated in a press statement “The Board of Commissioners decided to extend the registration of the political blocs that will participate in the elections of the elections of Kurdistan Region till the 28th of August 2013.”

“The Board of Commissioners also decided to extend the registration of the alliances participating in the elections of the provincial councils till the 31st of August 2013,” he concluded.
