IHEC urges electors to expedite activating their records
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent High Electoral Commission urged the electors, particularly the youth, to expedite activating their electoral records for the next elections of the provincial councils.
A statement by the IHEC received by IraqiNews.com quoted the head of the Electoral Department, Muqdad al-Sharifi, as saying “All the electors have to check in the electoral centers to activate their electoral records to have flexibility in the next PCs elections.”
He urged the youth who are 18 years old to expedite activating their electoral records in the nearest electoral center before the dead line of activating the electoral record which is the 31st of December 2012.
