IHEC: Wide participation in Kurdistan Region special ballot centers

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent High Electoral Commission IHEC announced that the participation rate of the special ballot within Kurdistan Parliamentary elections was very high.

The member, Kalishan Kamal, of the Board of Commissioners within the IHEC stated to IraqiNews.com on Thursday ”The participation rate till Thursday noon in Sulaimaniya ballot centers reached 54% and in Erbil reached 58% while the ballot centers in Dohuk province witnessed very wide attendance specially during the last hours.”

”A press conference will be held for the IHEC at 7:00 pm to announce the final position of the ballot operation and to discuss the election process,” she concluded.
