IIP says world must prevent Israel from erecting walls in Jerusalem

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Islamic Party (IIP), led by Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi, has urged all Arab and Islamic countries to take a stand against what it described as Israeli plans to erect walls and displace Palestinians in Jerusalem. “The party calls on the leaders and people of all Arab and Muslim states, as well as international organizations, to stand firm against all attempts by the usurper Zionist entity to continue plotting against the Arab and Muslim people…,” according to an IIP statement that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency. The statement called on the international community and international human rights and legal organizations to halt “Israeli transgressions” against the Palestinians. SS (P) 1
