INA determines its stance: National meeting to settle crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) After its meeting held on Friday evening, the Iraqi National Alliance confirmed that the national meeting will result in settling the political crisis, calling “The political sides to conduct a responsible dialogue.”

According to the political norms, INA declared its rejection to the calls of Erbil and Najaf meetings for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, through confirming its adherence to the national meeting.

A statement by INA cited “INA held its meeting with the attendance of all the members of its political committee at the house of its head, Ibraheem al-Jaafary on Friday.”

“During the meeting, the attendants stressed the importance of political reformation and the necessity for holding the national meeting which is the practical space to discuss all the proposals to settle the disputes,” the statement added.

“INA called all the political sides to overcome the current crisis through dialogues to preserve the democratic experiment and to establish the institutions of the State,” the statement concluded.
