INA holds meeting to discuss political updates

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi National Alliance held a meeting on Wednesday night to discuss the political updates and the current crisis.

The head of the Citizen bloc, Baqir Jabur al-Zubaidi, stated in a press conference “The INA, during its meeting, stressed on some points such as preserving the unity of Iraq and the INA and conduct a dialogue as being the only means that the INA will adhere to settle the political disputes.”

“The meeting also emphasized the reforms proposal and the adherence to the constitution in addition to the independence of the judicial system,” he added.

“The INA assured that the oil and the natural resources belong to the citizens and they must be distributed fairly in addition to urging the parliament to endorse the delayed law drafts and fight corruption,” he concluded.

Hakim calls politician to be serious in serving citizens

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Religious Authority, Mohammed Saeed al-Hakim, called the politicians to be serious in serving the citizens especially the poor,” pointing out “The officials hold big responsibility in this issue.”

In a conference held for the Islamic notification in Najaf on Thursday, he said “The citizens are complaining over the lack of citizens and their suffering increases day by day where the officials hold big responsibility and they have to be serious to provide the required services.”

“We condemned the terrorist attacks against the pilgrims in Baghdad and other provinces and call the security forces and the good people to be careful to sustain stability,” he concluded.
