INA holds meetings with IS, KA last Monday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Two statements issued by the Iraqi National Alliance assured that “The INA held a meeting with the Iraqiya Slate and the Kurdistani Alliance on last Monday within the course of its continuous meetings to identify the task of the INA via the Political Reforms Committee.”

One of the statements cited “The head of the INA, Ibraheem al-Jaafary, met the head of the IS bloc in the parliament, Salman al-Jumaili, and the Minister of Finance, Rafi al-Esawi, at his office in Baghdad on last Monday.”

“Both sides stressed conducting the reforms to settle the disputes that hurdle the political process and to take in consideration the time required for these reforms in addition to the priorities for the pending issues among the blocs to eliminate the current crisis,” the statement added.

The other statement confirmed that “Jaafary received the Deputy Premier, the leader within the KA, Ruz Nouri Shawees, at his office and they discussed the pending issues.”

“Both sides reviewed the means of facing the challenges depending on the constitution and the democratic procedures,” the statement concluded.

Earlier, the head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibraheem al-Jaafary, met the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, and the leader within the Kurdistani Alliance, Foad Masoum, separately.
