INA stresses preserving blood of demonstrators, IA elements

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi National Alliance stressed the necessity of preserving the Iraqis’ whether they are demonstrators or Iraqi Army elements.

A statement by IraqiNews.com received by IraqiNews.com cited “INA held a meeting on last Tuesday with the attendance of all its sides where all sides discussed the updates in the country and the evaluation of the electoral process.”

“INA discussed the events in Hawija expressing its support for the demonstrations since its beginning as long as they are adherent to the laws,” the statement added.

“INA warned the armed groups infiltrated among the demonstrators to exploit them and to pressurize the government,” the statement continued.

“INA emphasizes supporting the security forces according to the law and the constitution, asking the forces to keep on their role in protecting the demonstrations and fighting terrorism,” the statement mentioned.

“We call to investigate Hawija events and to present the sides behind them to justice as we confirm the importance of adopting the dialogue,” the statement went on.

“We remind the demonstrators that some radical sides and gunmen who attempt to defame the peaceful demonstrations,” the statement concluded.
