Iranian official: Iran offers academic education to Iraqi diplomats

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Director of Iraq Foreign Ministry education center in a meeting with a representative from Iran’s cultural attaché in Iraq called for training of Iraqi diplomats by Iran’s foreign ministry.

The Islamic Culture and Relations Organization said that the Iranian cultural attaché in Iraq met with Director of Iraqi Foreign Ministry Education Center Sabah Jamil Omran offering the training issues.

In the meeting, which took place at Iraq Foreign Ministry building, Sabah Jamil talked about close relations between the two countries in different fields and called for increasing educational cooperation between Iraq and Iran, especially in the field of education of Iraq Foreign Ministry diplomats.

Referring to dispatching several Iraqi diplomats to Iran for training courses in year 2010, Sabah Jamil called it a successful experience and expressed desire to repeat the training courses for the other Iraqi diplomats.

Considering plenty of Iranian delegation visiting Iraq and increase of Iraqi diplomats in Iran, Sabah Jamil called for teaching Persian language to Iraqi Foreign Ministry diplomats as a priority.

Iranian cultural attaché in Iraq, for his part, explained Foreign Ministry educational capabilities in two fields of International Relations faculty and department of education and research and said that wide relations between these centers with foreign academies and holding specialized courses with skilled cadre are reasons for the higher scientific capabilities of the centers. /End/
