Iraq chairs NAS meeting

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Iraq chaired the morning session for the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Non-Aligned States held in Tehran.

A statement by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited Wednesday “The Iraqi Foreign Affairs Minister, Hoshyar Zibari, chaired the morning session as Iraq is the deputy chairman of the NAS for the Asian Arab group of States members of the Movement since the Ministerial meeting of NAS held in Indonesia in 2011.”

The works of the Ministerial meeting are scheduled to be concluded on Wednesday to sign the beginning of the Summit of the Presidents of the Non-Aligned States on Thursday, the statement mentioned.
