Iraq condemns bombings in Turkey

Baghdad ( The Iraqi Government condemned the bombings that hit a border area in Turkey on last Saturday which led to dozens of deaths and injuries mostly civilians.

A statement by the Prime Minister’s office reported on Sunday “The Iraqi government strongly denounces the terrorist bombings that were took place in Raihana town in Turkey, and it would like to express its solidarity with the Turkish people and the families of the victims.”

“Committing such crimes necessitates the cooperation among all the countries especially the regional ones to eliminate the terrorism, extremism and all kinds of violence,” the statement added.

Turkish Raihana town, bordering Syria witnessed four bombings that killed and wounded dozens of civilians.
