Iraq First Lady to visit Maysan province

Maysan (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi First Lady, Hiro Ibrahim Ahmed, will visit Maysan province at the end of May according to an invitation by Maysan Provincial Council.

A delegation of the Presidency has arrived in Maysan on Friday to arrange for the Lady’s expected visit.

The head of the Security and Defense Committee in Maysan PC, Maitham Lafta al-Fartosi, stated to the Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “This visit will help to settle disputes between the Kurds and Arabs as being brothers and it is considered as a shock to those who try to destroy the unity among Iraqi people.”

“One of the most important programs of the First Lady will be about Maysan Marshes that were dried up by the previous regime,” he concluded.
