Iraq’s Ambassador in Baku delivers Lecture on Iraq’s History

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy hosted the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Baku Mr. Haider al-Barrak.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by IraqiNews.com cited “The Ambassador gave a detailed explanation about the history of Iraq since the founding of the modern state in 1921, and the political systems and their stages and forms, the Constitutional monarchy and the Republic and then the totalitarian regime of the former dictatorial regime and what the Iraqi people have suffered with all its spectra by wars and adventures undertaken by that regime.”

“He also highlighted the challenges faced by Iraq as a result of terrorism, calling the world to cooperate in order to stop Daash crimes and drying the funding sources,” the statement concluded. /End/
