Iraq’s stances over foreign affairs not unified, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The member of the Parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee, Rafi Abdul Jabbar, described “Iraq’s stances over the foreign affairs are not unified,” noting that “The political blocs are controlling the decisions over the foreign issues.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The scattered stances urged the other countries to violate the norms while dealing with Iraq like the invitation sent by the Saudi Arabia to the President, Jalal Talabani, while the know that he is abroad fro medical treatment in addition to the recent visit to Kurdistan and Kirkuk without notifying the Federal Government.”

“The political regime in Iraq is strange where the stances towards the other countries are disputed,” he concluded.
